The Orton-Gillingham Academy’s 10-hour Subscriber Course provides an introduction to the Orton-Gillingham Approach, dyslexia, multisensory instruction, and the structure of the English language. Participants also receive an overview of Orton-Gillingham lesson content, instructional practices, and curriculum.
The Subscriber Course is designed for parents, individuals with dyslexia, educators, tutors, school administrators, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, advocates, and others interested in learning more about the Orton-Gillingham Approach.
Subscriber Members are not certified by the Orton-Gillingham Academy to teach or tutor using the Orton-Gillingham Approach.
Some Academy Fellows may require completion of the Subscriber Course before beginning formal training.
